About Toronto Blue Jays |
| |
Established in 1977 as an expansion franchise, the Blue Jays began playing their home games at Exhibition Stadium. In the late 80’s, the franchise moved to the SkyDome.
In the 90’s the franchise would go to win back to back World Series’ in 1992 & 1993. The franchise holds the distinction of being the only team outside of the United States to ever win a World Series.
The team has yet to make it back into the playoffs.
In 2009, Rogers Blue Jays Baseball Partnership had control of the team.
